Peter Dutton was the local MP for Eatons Hill and the surronuding area. He was also leader of the opposition Liberal Party. He came up with some bizarre policies leading up to the general election, including preventing civil servants from working from home and overturning the long-standing ban on nuclear power in Australia. In the event, he lost his seat to Labor.
